Mohawk Language Coaching: Introduction to Mohawk Language Program:

3 (1 hour sessions per week) for a total of 30 hours.

Ohén:ton Karihwatéhkwen – The Thanksgiving Address (the Original Instruction given to us by the Creator)

Participants acquire insight and knowledge of our world view by listening to, and translating the Thanksgiving Address.
Introduces the participants to Mohawk Language, Culture, History.
Allows exploration and experience of Mohawk Culture, Philosophy, Spirituality and Values.
Enables the participants to converse in the Mohawk Language using basic conversational phrases and expressions with confidence.
Provides the foundation of understanding Mohawk Language and Culture.

Maximum Class size: limited to 30 students per program.

Introduces participants to a wholistic way of learning.
Introduces and allows for exploration of Mohawk Culture, Philosophy, Spirituality and Values.
Participants acquire insight and knowledge of our world view by listening to, and translating the Thanksgiving Address.
Provides the foundation of understanding Mohawk Language.
Strengthens participants ability to have simple conversations.

Thus in turn, will provide the participants with a greater awareness and confidence in using basic conversational phrases.
